Received a bill?

You have received a BID levy invoice because you are within the Nuneaton BID area and have a rateable value over £5000. Your invoice will be for 2% of your rateable value minus the write off we have given for the 1st year.

Why does my invoice have a write off?

The Nuneaton BID came into effect on 1st July 2024, but because we had a lot of work to do behind the scenes, we are only now ready to begin proving the services set out in our business plan. As such the Board of Directors, decided to write off the portion of your invoice for the period 1st July – 31st December 2024.

If you were liable for the rateable value for the whole of the period you have been given virtually a 50% write off on your bill for the 1st billing year 1st July 2024 – 30th June 2025. And the Bid will provide services from January 2025 onwards.

If you were liable during the period 1st July 2024 – 31 December 2024 but have since vacated the property and are no longer liable, you will have received a £0 invoice. There is no need to do anything with this, It is just for your records.

If you became liable for a building during the period 1st July – 31st December 2024, your bill will contain a write off for the time within this period that you were liable.

What is the billing period?

The Nuneaton BID term is for 5 years with billing periods running annually from 1st July – 30th June.

Your next BID invoice for a full year will be issued in July 2025.

What is the BID Levy for?

All details about the planned spending of the BID levy can be found in the Nuneaton BID business plan.
