Restoration works will take place at venue that holds almost 300 years of Nuneaton's history
Cllr Bhim Saru, who was the borough's first ever Gurkha Mayor, chose to use his year in office to help the Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre.
Part of the stonework on the building is crumbling and urgent works are needed at the centre, which preserves the town's history, dating back almost 300 years.
