A New, Modern Radio Network for Nuneaton
We are pleased to be launching a new radio communication platform in Nuneaton, designed to deliver clearer audio, wider coverage and significantly improved reliability with additional security for your staff and premises.
The existing radio system has been in place for many years and relies on ageing infrastructure and hardware that is no longer well supported.
This can make communications difficult to hear, limits coverage mainly to town centres, and often results in slow repairs and limited support when problems arise.
The current radio service will be transferred in April 2026.

Using mobile and Wi-Fi data rather than analogue technology, it offers unlimited coverage and built-in resilience and additional security, 24/ 7 tracking and next working day service.

Why is there a new radio system being introduced?
The current radio system has been in place for a long time
It relies on much older infrastructure that is not well supported

Is my DISC membership included?
Yes, your membership of the Warwickshire Retail Crime Initiative will remain current.
You do not need to do anything
Do I have to give notice to our current supplier?
No, notice of the switch will be done centrally
Do I have to pay more?
The overall pricing is the same, based on the current supplier rental contract **
Will I have to set up a new supplier?
Yes, the payment for the radio service will be administered by Nuneaton BID Ltd. We can supply all the information to help with this.
Will my payment schedule change?
No it will remain the same. There are annual or quarterly payment plans (paid in advance).
What happens if I don't switch?
You will no longer have radio communication with Town Centre CCTV (Tango Victor), Warwickshire Police, Nuneaton BID Safe Team other neighbouring businesses.
I already have an internal radio system for communication with my team - do I need to replace all my radio's?
No your internal systems can remain the same
