Poppy Picnic in the Park

Bring your picnic chair or a rug to sit on and your picnic. Bring your knitting or crochet or nothing at all! Sit and enjoy the camaraderie of the local community or get involved in tying poppies onto the wire in readiness for covering the six pillars of the town hall in poppies, ready for remembrance events in November. Come and make some effort for all those who gave everything for us. Our amazing community have been knitting and crocheting all year to make this project happen and we couldn’t be more grateful. We look forward to seeing you and enjoying a lovely evening together 🌺
