Scarecrow Shenanigans
🌾📚 A brand-new family trail is coming to Nuneaton Town Centre this September!
Get ready for Scarecrow Shenanigans, a fun-filled new event bringing storybook magic, creativity and colourful characters to Nuneaton Town Centre from 19th–30th September 2026.
This year’s theme is Children’s Book Characters, with scarecrows inspired by some of your favourite storybook characters popping up at participating town-centre businesses. From much-loved classics to modern favourites, there will be plenty to discover as you explore the town and celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026.
🌾 Follow the Trail
Throughout the event, visitors can follow the Scarecrow Shenanigans trail around Nuneaton Town Centre, discovering the different scarecrows along the way.
Trail sheets will be available from the 19th and onwards, from the Nuneaton BID office and Saints, or visitors can scan the QR code to access the trail information.
As you explore, don't forget to:

The Scarecrow Shenanigans trail officially launches on:
📅 Saturday 19th September 2026 ⏰ 10am–2pm 📍 Nuneaton Town Centre
The launch is the perfect opportunity to get involved, pick up your trail sheet and start discovering the storybook scarecrows around the town.
There will also be special guests, Ukele Jam Band, performing at 12pm at Saints, adding some live music to the day's festivities.

Scarecrow Shenanigans is designed to be a fun, free activity for families and visitors of all ages. Whether you're following the trail with little ones, discovering the characters with friends or simply enjoying a wander around Nuneaton Town Centre, there will be plenty to see.
Entry is free and there is no need to book.
So grab your trail sheet, bring your camera and get ready to see Nuneaton Town Centre through a storybook-inspired lens!
