LOCAL ART, ON DISPLAY
Featured Artist / Abbey Street Window Gallery
The Abbey Street Window Gallery is a vibrant showcase of local creativity, bringing art directly into the heart of Nuneaton.
Each month, a different artist transforms the BID office window into a mini gallery, turning a simple street view into something inspiring and unexpected. From painting and photography to illustration and mixed media, the project celebrates the incredible talent within our community while adding colour and energy to the town centre.
It’s art for everyone—free to enjoy, easy to discover, and right where you’d least expect it.
COMMUNITY, CREATIVITY, CONNECTION
LOVE Nuneaton
LOVE Nuneaton is a celebration of creativity, community and local pride at the heart of the town centre.
Bringing together residents, families and local artists, the project invites people of all ages to take part in creating something meaningful together. From hands-on activities to large-scale public art, LOVE Nuneaton is all about connection—giving everyone the chance to contribute, express themselves and be part of a shared story.
Together, these contributions help showcase what makes Nuneaton special, creating lasting moments of pride and a vibrant sense of community.
BID Radio Connect
A New, Modern Radio Network for Nuneaton
We are pleased to be launching a new radio communication platform in Nuneaton, designed to deliver clearer audio, wider coverage and significantly improved reliability with additional security for your staff and premises.
The existing radio system has been in place for many years and relies on ageing infrastructure and hardware that is no longer well supported.
This can make communications difficult to hear, limits coverage mainly to town centres, and often results in slow repairs and limited support when problems arise.
BID Butterfly
A Flutter of Creativity in Nuneaton
Nuneaton town centre was filled with colour and creativity over the Easter holidays as families joined Nuneaton BID’s School Holiday Activity Days.
A standout feature was a community art project led by local artist Ann Middleton, inviting people of all ages to help create a sculpture from recycled drinks cans.
Participants decorated butterfly-shaped pieces using bright colours and imaginative designs, transforming simple materials into a vibrant collective artwork. Y
