LOVE Nuneaton Create Together

Create, Connect & Celebrate at LOVE Nuneaton

LOVE Nuneaton is a community-led creative project celebrating pride, creativity, and connection in the heart of Nuneaton.

Bringing together local artists, families, residents, and visitors, LOVE Nuneaton invites people of all ages to take part in creating meaningful art that reflects what they love about their town. The project is rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and the belief that public spaces are made richer when shaped by the people who use them.

At the heart of LOVE Nuneaton is a large-scale community art installation, co-created by local artists and the public. Through a free, creative event, people are encouraged to get involved, contribute their own creative mark, and become part of something shared. Every contribution matters, whether big or small, and together they form a visual celebration of Nuneaton’s identity, diversity, and community spirit.

LOVE Nuneaton also creates opportunities to showcase and support local creative talent, with artists leading activities, sharing skills, and helping to shape artwork that feels authentic to the town. Alongside the main art installation, this event includes a hands-on making opportunity to take away and face painting for the children. These are experiences designed to be welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Delivered in partnership with Nuneaton BID and Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council, LOVE Nuneaton aims to bring positive energy into the town centre, encourage footfall, and create moments of joy, connection, and pride, leaving behind not just artwork, but a sense of shared ownership and love for Nuneaton.

Whether you’re taking part in a creative activity, supporting local artists, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, LOVE Nuneaton is about coming together and celebrating what makes our town special.

Ann Middleton

We’re delighted to be working with Ann Middleton, an experienced and inspiring artist who is passionate about making creativity accessible, playful, and meaningful for everyone.

Ann is best known for delivering hands-on, engaging art workshops for children from Reception through to Year 6. Her approach is rooted in the belief that art can be made from anything, using cheap, recycled, and found materials to spark imagination, build confidence, and encourage creative thinking.

With extensive experience working in schools and as a DBS-checked artist, Ann tailors every session to suit different ages, topics, and learning needs. Her workshops explore themes of sustainability, teamwork, and problem-solving, all through creative play and experimentation. Projects can range from large-scale papier-mâché wall displays and giant cardboard sculptures to puppet making, weaving with recycled textiles, and even stop-motion animation.

Ann’s inclusive, eco-friendly approach fits perfectly with the spirit of LOVE Nuneaton, and we’re proud to have her bringing her creativity, energy, and passion for community-led art to this project. We can’t wait to see what she creates alongside the people of Nuneaton
